PUTTERS NEEDED!

Wonderworks Children’s Museum has served children and families throughout the gorge area for over 30 years. We are proud to say that we finally have purchased a new home at 206 Madison St. in The Dalles! We have recently received an Urban Renewal grant and have already put in a new roof and HVAC system.
Since the building is empty as we wait for more grants to finish the building, we decided to put in a miniature golf course. This will allow us to serve our community by offering a safe place for families, youth groups, birthday parties and more to have a fun activity during the winter months.
We are asking for your help by donating any old putters that you might have. Whether they are right or left-handed, relatively new or really old, it doesn’t matter!

Telling Time in Style

This class will teach you the steps needed to create a watch that will match any outfit for any occasion - all you need to do is change the band. You have a choice between a brown or black band for this class, but then you can take the knowledge and create any color of band you would like on your own. Please specify on the registration form which band you want.

Cost: $15.00 first band

($10.00 for the second band if you choose to make both a brown & black band)

Sanitation Kits/Water Purification Demo

Concerned about where you'll go when you 'gotta go' in the event of an emergency? Come to this class, get prepared, and you'll never worry again. We will be assembling sanitation kits that include a special lid with a 5 gallon bucket, and all the supplies needed to take care of your bathroom needs during an emergency. Carla will also be giving a demonstration on water purification inclusing what water emergencies we could experience locally, what the local officials plan for such emergencies, and how we can be further prepared. Definitely a class well worth the investment!

Grandma's Idea Swap
